Doc. Ing. Štefan Sklenár, CSc.
Founder of ENVI-GEOS Nitra s.r.o., Doc. Ing. Štefan Sklenár, CSc. is one of the most important pioneers in the field of waste management in Slovakia. The company’s activities are based on a thorough knowledge of waste management processes and technologies, and our employees draw on their know-how from the many years of academic experience and scientific work of the company’s founder.
Doc. Ing. Štefan Sklenár, CSc. worked in the years 1979-2010 as a teacher at the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra, is a co-author of 4 university textbooks, independently published 20 peer-reviewed scientific publications, 15 scientific papers and several professional articles. He significantly participated in the introduction of a separate subject of waste management in the field of landscape engineering.
He was a member of the scientific councils at SUA in Nitra and a member of the Slovak Commission for the Defense of Candidate Dissertations.
In 1993, he founded the company ENVI-GEOS Nitra, s.r.o., which he still leads as the company’s managing director.
